How much does custom aviation software development cost?+
It depends on scope and how many systems you have to integrate with. A single-workflow build, say an electronic logbook or an SMS reporting app, sits well below a full maintenance platform. We quote after discovery, when we know what your integrations actually look like.
How long before we can use something?+
A first usable release usually lands in four to six months, and you see working software every two weeks from the first sprint. Platforms with heavy AODB, ERP or EFB integration take longer, and we say so before you sign anything.
Can you integrate with our existing aviation systems?+
Yes. AMOS, TRAX and similar maintenance systems, AODB and airport messaging, ERP, EFB providers, flight data feeds and crew systems. Where there is no usable API we build an integration layer and keep it documented.
Do you handle regulatory certification?+
Certification is between you and your authority. What we do is build the system so the evidence exists: traceability, sign-offs, retention and reports mapped to what EASA, the FAA or an IOSA auditor will ask for. For airborne software under DO-178C we work alongside your DER and certification team.
Should we replace our current system or build around it?+
Usually build around it first. Most operators get more value from replacing the two or three workflows that hurt than from a full migration. If the core system is genuinely unsupportable we will say that too.
Do you build mobile apps for crew and engineers?+
Yes, in React Native or Flutter, with offline mode as a requirement rather than an afterthought. Ramp and hangar coverage is unreliable, so the app has to hold data locally and reconcile cleanly.
Who owns the code and what happens after launch?+
You own it from day one, repository and documentation included. After launch the same team stays on for support and the next phase, or hands over to your in-house team if that is the plan.
